Pregnancy - Day 162

Today is day 162 of my pregnancy (23 wks, 1day).
Here's what I found online about
Stella this week:
Your baby is positively HUGE during pregnancy
at 23 weeks, a whopping 1.1 pound
(or almost at least!). That is quite an
accomplishment for someone that used to
weigh less than one ounce. Your baby at 23
weeks is now the size of a small baby doll you
might purchase for a little girl.
That's pretty impressive considering your baby
could fit in the palm of your hand just a few
short weeks ago. Your newborn baby is also
about 11 inches long by pregnancy week 23!
I have felt many of Stella's changes this week also.
**I am feeling a little less graceful 23 weeks pregnant as my
belly continues to expand!
**Stella's kicks are becoming stronger and stronger and
I'm hoping the girls and Joe will be able to feel them soon.
**My mood swings have been horrible this week...the
family is not sure if they should hide or seek me LOL
**Migraine this week..could be weather or hormones...not sure
**Went to the chiropractor...and feel 10x's better
**Braxton hicks contractions every other day or so
**Weight is starting to come on this week...I think the scale
at home says I've gained 2-3lbs.
All in all I'm enjoying this pregnancy and the miracle God
has given to me :) I can't wait till the day I get to see
Stella's beautiful face...if she will have brown eyes/brown hair
like mommy or blue eyes/blonde hair like daddy...or her own
combination like her sister Alli Jo :) However she looks I know
she will be beautiful like her sisters and look like an angel!
--On a side note...my Aunt Rosetta passed away this week.
If you can please keep my mom and our family in your prayer :)
Till the next time........

Five Easy Steps to Wreck Your Life

One of my favorite bookmarks on my computer is
the site for LifeChurch.tv
If you have never been on the site...
bookmark it today!!
Recently they started a series of videos titled
Five Easy Steps to Wreck Your Life
Well I started watching it, and thought
this is a perfect series for Joe and I to watch
together!! Even if you're not married yet....still
great information!!
There are 5 different weeks, I think they've done 2 so far
so if you and your spouse can find about 30 minutes a week
to watch them....come on that's not that much time...
if I can do it you can do it :)
Nobody plans for it to happen, but life can get pretty messy.
Trouble with our relationships…harmful habits…
feeling far from God…we look back and wonder,
“How did I end up here?”
Starting down that path is easier than you might think,
unless you know what to look for. Join us for our next series,
5 Easy Steps to Wreck Your Life.

Pregnancy - Day 155

Today I am 155 days pregnant (22 weeks 1day).
I missed posting last week, it's just been a little crazy
in the Robinson house lately. With Alli Jo starting
preschool/daycare and Hunter starting up her activities
added to my full-time and part-time jobs....
mommy is going a little nuts :)
On September 11th I had my diagnostic OB appt. They
did a detailed ultrasound to make sure baby is
developing normally. And thank God everything looks great!
She checked Stella's spine, head, heart, blood flow to heart,
her stomach, hands, feet, and much more!
My placenta is behind Stella and her head is down....both
great to hear! Her heartbeat was right around 140 again :)
She weighs around 14oz!

And of course I had to ask..........

So it looks like Stella it will be :)

We will keep her middle name a secret, in case this is our

last baby...we have something a surprise!!

So what's going on with Stella this week????

At 11 inches and almost 1 pound, baby is starting
to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and
eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even
developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes
have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye)
still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb,
you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers
her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll
sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside
her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of
some important hormones — is developing steadily.

I don't feel much different this week, besides the steady
kicks Stella gives me durning the day and night :)
Best feeling in the world!
The nausea is still there in the mornings...but very
manageable now!
I think last appointment I had gained 3lbs.

We did get Stella's room painted.....well Joe did :)
Here are a few pictures from my cell phone

Joe painting over Alli Jo's old room (pink)

Daddy's big helper!

Painting the brown wall...looks like a turkey LOL
Hard to see colors....sage green & brown
Stella's crib & bedding
Changing table
Someone trying to blend in with her camo...didn't work :)

The Speed of Hope

I found this video online. And even if you haven't gone
through the situation of "Adultery" I think you can apply
their advice to ANY arguments you & your spouse get
in. It's all about forgiveness. When you want to give Him
the glory and do what He wants, you must do that, full-hearted
and TRUST that it's what He's wanting you to do and learn
from what has happened! Sometimes we want to take the easy
way out and just leave.....pull that divorce card. But if BOTH
spouses TRULY believe they can work it out with God's
help I think it's possible! Joe and I had a rough first
year of marriage...could be that I got pregnant with Alli Jo
a couple month after our marriage LOL But it was hard!
I prayed and prayed about the trials we were going through....
and just like in this video....I thought I loved Joe then......
we've come so far in the past 4 years of marriage...it's
unbelievable how much I love him NOW!!
Here's the video and then I put the lyrics up to
Brad Paisley's song "Then". Over to the right on my sidebar
is the music if you want to hear the song :)

Then lyrics
I remember, trying not to stare the night that I first met you
You had me mezmorized
And three weeks later, in the front porch light
taking forty-five minutes to kiss goodnight
I hadn't told you yet
but I thought I loved you then

Chorus

And now you're my whole life
now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl
Like a river meets the sea,
stronger than it's ever been.
We've come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then

And i remember, taking you back to right where I first met you,
You were so surprised
There were people around, but I didn't care
Got down on one knee right there once again,
I thought I loved you then

Chorus

And now you're my whole life
now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl
Like a river meets the sea,
stronger than it's ever been.
We've come so far since that day
And I thought I loved you then

I could just see you, with a baby on the way
And I could just see you, when your hair is turning gray
What I can't see is how I'm ever gonna love you more
But I've said that before

And now you're my whole life
now you're my whole world
I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl
We'll look back someday, at this moment that we're in
And I'll look at you and say
And I thought I loved you then
And I thought I loved you then

First Senior Session: Leah Robinson Photography

I have to admit Senior Portrait Sessions have been very
intimidating for me.....right up there with weddings LOL
But when you get a young man like Josh.....
who is so laid back....you can't go wrong!
Josh reminded me of Joe, 10 years ago ha ha!
A country boy with no worries...just having fun!
Josh did some tricks on his 4wheeler, and I just had
to thank God for giving us another girl....
b/c I think my heart was in my throat!!

Here's a little sneak peek:

Baby Video Monitor WARNING!!!

Last night I was messing with my baby video monitor,
changed channels and realized we weren't looking at
our own child.....we actually could see our neighbors kid!!!!
Took us a minute to figure out who it was...
called them and we both turned off ...
our baby monitors!!
SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE A VIDEO MONITOR....
you just never know who's watching your kids!

Knepp Engagement: Leah Robinson Photography

One of my favorite shoots to do is engagement/couples!
I love seeing couples "in-love" and let me tell ya...
these two are meant for each other!
They were both so fun and relaxed it made my
job a piece of cake!

Here's a sneak peek for the couple :)

Gotta love their "team rivalry"...he's a
Reds fan and she's a Cardinals fan
(at least she has good taste) haha!

Maternity Leave & Holiday Mini Sessions

Well many of you have asked me about Holiday
pictures, and I've taken some time to think about
the end of my pregnancy and when I need to take
time off. I've decided that I will not be shooting
after October 31, 2009.
Baby is due in January and this
will give me time to spend with my girls a
couple months before baby is here!
I will return after my maternity leave sometime in
March/April 2010 timeframe.
So if you want to book something...book now!! LOL
Email during the day is the fastest way to get a hold
of me!
It's starting to cool down & it's time to start thinking
about Christmas/Holiday pictures!!
So grab your sweater, your hat, and meet me for some
Christmas pictures!!!
I will be shooting Holiday Mini Sessions
on Saturday, October 10th from 9am-1pm and
Sunday October 11th from 3-7pm.
Saturday's session will be held at Eastside Washington Park
and Sunday's session will be held at West Bogg's Park
I am doing 20 minute sessions at 1/2 hr intervals...
first come first serve so book your time now!
Additional sets of cards can be purchased in sets
of 25 at $25/set and don't forget to order prints
as gifts for family!

Tell me it isn't so..........

Alli Jo started preschool this morning!!!
My baby girl is growing up :(
Left my camera at home so I didn't get any of
her walking in (will try that Thurs).
She was so excited last night she could hardly
get to sleep! One time she even told me,
"Mommy I woke up it's time for preschool!"
She just cracks me up!
The only thing I'm worried about is what to
pack her for lunch, she is the pickiest eater
in the world!

Tiny Blessings: Leah Robinson Photography

Earlier this year I had come across a prayer request for a family
that was in the process of adopting a baby boy from Ethiopia.
The parents just so happened to graduate from the same high
school I did, and when you're from a small town you know
everyone! I was so excited to pray for them on their
upcoming journey! I followed her blog and it touched my
heart deeply! March 9, 2009 - was their "Gotcha Day" and
on March 13th Eli was home forever with his family!

Well a few weeks ago I got a call from Kristi asking if I'd
shoot some photos of little Eli with his big sister and big bro!
I was beyond excited and honored and of course said yes!
Last night couldn't have been better with lighting..we had a
perfect overcast sky!

Here are few sneak peeks for mom & dad :)

I just love me some baby feet...so had to

throw this one in :)

Pregnancy - Day 140

Well I'm half-way there!!!
Today I'm 20 weeks pregnant!

Since getting sick this week, I've lost another 2 lbs again.
So I'm -2lbs from the start. My doc doesn't seem too
worried and hasn't said anything...so I'm not too worried
either. I really didn't need to gain much this pregnancy
so I think I'm doing good thus far!
Sleeping is something I'm not used to these days,
I've always said it's God's way of preparing us mommas
for the sleep-less nights ahead :)
I did stay home from work yesterday and actually slept til noon!
I don't think I've done that since I've been in college! ha
I think I really just needed a day to rest and not do anything!
Mom watched Alli Jo for me, and Hunter was at school.....so
I really didnt' have to worry about anything!

Despite not gaining any weight...I know that my belly is
growing and growing b/c my shirts are getting shorter LOL!
I'm going to have to do some more fall/winter shopping and
maybe that will be my last time to shop!
Here are some fun facts about baby this week:
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now.
Baby's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom
and about 10 inches from head to heel —
the length of a banana.
He or she's swallowing more these days,
which is good practice for his digestive system.
She's also producing meconium, a black, sticky
by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate
in her bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper
(some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

Oh and last but NOT least...
Today is Joe's 28th B-day and our
4 year Wedding Anniversary!
It's hard to believe we met when he was 22 and I was 21 :)

More sickness.....

Well sickness has struck our house again...YUCK!
Joe and I both feel like we're dying....I know we're babies :)
We both have sinus infections. I have a double ear infection as well
and bacterial infection they found in my urine, so I'm actually
on 3 prescriptions right now. UGH
Hunter woke up early Saturday throwing up. But only
threw up once, and was fine. But the rest of the
weekend had a really bad sore throat. So we took
her to dr yesterday and they think it will pass with
no meds! Alli Jo starting getting a runny nose, but has
seemed to surpass it for now :) She has been taking care
of mommy & daddy....runnig to get us kleenexes, etc. She
is such a good helper!
Baby Robinson is kicking a lot more these days! It is
such a calm feeling for momma b/c I know all is well :)
They're aren't really hard kicks....just enough to let me
know she's there!
