Weight Loss Update

I'm sorry I've been so busy I haven't been able to update on my weight loss progress.

Well last time Jodi measured me I had lost over 7 inches! I've probably lost around 10lbs! Which means I'm about 5 lbs less than when I got preggo with Stella. I honestly am ok with that right now, b/c it's a SLOW loss and I've changed the way I'm doing things, so I know that it's going to STAY OFF!!

I've been working out with Jodi at least once a week. Most of the time I'm with her we do circuit training, which is good for me b/c it's my weakness! Jodi has told me she can tell a BIG difference in my energy from day 1. I don't think I was able to do much at all that first day! I remember I couldn't do an "easy" Pilates roll up..... Jodi had to pull me up! Now I can do it!! So I know I'm progressing, which is awesome!!

Jodi asked me to set some goals. One of my goals is to run a 5K (3.1 miles) on July 24th. This scares me somewhat b/c I still have a lot of weight on me......but being that I used to be a runner, it has helped me keep going! Jodi said she was really surprised how good I did running with the weight I have on me. I think I ran my mile in 10:45 last time and we just timed my 5K (first one) at around 40 minutes I think, but I walked some b/c I had pulled a muscle in my leg =( So I hope to improve that time next time!

This morning I tried a shake called Shakeology . A friend of mine is a body coach and sent me a sample of the chocolate. She gave me different recipes to try, and let me tell ya...it's yummy!!! I'm really not a "shake" person but this is good! I will keep you updated!!

What a weekend!!

So as I mentioned before, Miss Alli Jo A.K.A. Diva...had her 4th birthday! We celebrated with friends and family on Friday night. It was so far one of the best bday parties ever! We are sooooo blessed with loving friends and family that just spoil my girls rotten with not only gifts but love =)

We started out the day Friday by mommy taking Alli to Club Tabby to get a makeover. This was a last minute thing that I had decided to do that week. And it was so much fun!! When we got there, there was a little girl getting her hair done before Alli. Her name was Ella. She was also turning 4 the same day as Alli Jo so it was really neat!

They gave AJ a chance to pick 5 different makeovers:
Pretty in pink – Ooh La La, after this make-over you will be as precious as a pink poodle with your fluffy boa.
Movie Star – You’ll be ready to roll into the hills of Hollywood with this makeover style.
Princess – Behold the beauty of a princess. You’ll feel like royalty with this special makeover.
Rainbow Rocker – this makeover is sure to let your personality shine…Girlz ROCK!
Tropical Princess - Same as princess except seasonal for the summer
And of COURSE she picked princess!!!! hahaha And she begged me to let her get color sprayed in her hair. Since it was her bday, I said yes. I've really tried to let the "control freak" part of me go and let my girls have their own individual styles and personalities!

Here are some pics of the makeover!

Sprinkle a little fairy dust on those pretty nails =)

So cute!

Ready for my party!!
I got AJ's shirt on Etsy at this shop . And

I kept saying, I'm never doing this again HAHA!!
I made Joe go up there with her...she's a daddy's girl
and I knew she'd do good up there with him =)

I'm back.......

So yep, it's been almost a month since my last post...wow, I'm bad LOL So I figured I'd catch up on what I've been up to. It's been a busy busy month!

On May 30th we went to holiday world. It was a HOT one! The best thing we did was went to the water park first, we enjoyed our time there and then went to the park and there were NO lines! It was such a fun day!! I didn't get many pictures of Hunter, b/c Alli Jo was my partner for the day hahaha =)

On May 31st (Memorial Day) Hunter was playing ball with her dad's friend and just as she turned her head...got smacked right in the eye. It quickly started to get worse and she was in more pain, so I took her to the ER just to make sure nothing was broke. Thank God it wasn't and she just had to do ice to keep swelling down. Here are pics from when it first happened. I didn't get any pics when it looked worse.

Another reason I wanted her to get checked out was b/c she was leaving for camp that week! I didn't want to send her knowing she may have a broken bone.

Here she is packing for camp....somebody (Stella) didnt want her to leave LOL

Hunter had a blast at camp. She went to Camp Illiana in Washington. And she said she wants to go back every year!! She went with a couple friends and ended up bunking up with even two more good friends from school....so an entire side of their room was all Barr Reeve girls =) Too funny!
On June 6th, Miss Stella won 2010 Strawberry Festival Happiest Baby 0-6 mos!! Isn't she cute!

Stells turned 5 months old on June 13th...and what present did she get? A TOOTH! And two days later another......

And now Miss thing even holds her own bottle!!

Here is a picture of AJ with the D.C. Fair Queen Court last night at the fair. I didn't have my camera with me, but used my cell phone (hence the poor quality) LOL But Alli Jo was so excited, she has really been into being a "princess/queen" lately! Her favorite show is Toddlers and Tiaras...hoping she doesn't pick up some of the drama on there =)

In other news, Alli Jo is turning 4 Saturday, yes I said 4!! I cannot believe have fast my little diva has grown!! So stay tuned, b/c you know me.....there will be pictures to come!!
