Weight Loss Update

I'm sorry I've been so busy I haven't been able to update on my weight loss progress.

Well last time Jodi measured me I had lost over 7 inches! I've probably lost around 10lbs! Which means I'm about 5 lbs less than when I got preggo with Stella. I honestly am ok with that right now, b/c it's a SLOW loss and I've changed the way I'm doing things, so I know that it's going to STAY OFF!!

I've been working out with Jodi at least once a week. Most of the time I'm with her we do circuit training, which is good for me b/c it's my weakness! Jodi has told me she can tell a BIG difference in my energy from day 1. I don't think I was able to do much at all that first day! I remember I couldn't do an "easy" Pilates roll up..... Jodi had to pull me up! Now I can do it!! So I know I'm progressing, which is awesome!!

Jodi asked me to set some goals. One of my goals is to run a 5K (3.1 miles) on July 24th. This scares me somewhat b/c I still have a lot of weight on me......but being that I used to be a runner, it has helped me keep going! Jodi said she was really surprised how good I did running with the weight I have on me. I think I ran my mile in 10:45 last time and we just timed my 5K (first one) at around 40 minutes I think, but I walked some b/c I had pulled a muscle in my leg =( So I hope to improve that time next time!

This morning I tried a shake called Shakeology . A friend of mine is a body coach and sent me a sample of the chocolate. She gave me different recipes to try, and let me tell ya...it's yummy!!! I'm really not a "shake" person but this is good! I will keep you updated!!

You are doing awesome and are such an inspiration. I know we don't know each other that well, but you are encouraging me to take better care of myself and giving me motivation to get this body into better shape! Congrats on all of your accomplishments so far!

I was wondering how you were doing....and figured you were still on a roll:) You are doing great still and even though you say it has been a slow weight loss you have lost TEN pounds. That is GREAT!!!
